Welcome to St Mary's

John and Sue Meagher invite you to ‘come and see’ something of the life of St Mary’s Anglican Church in South Perth, which lies within the Diocese of Perth in Western Australia. We hope this website will give you a glimpse of our church community.

As a married couple who are both ordained priests, we minister together at St Mary’s, seeking to build community within and beyond the parish. We both have backgrounds in teaching, and delight in the presence of children and families in the parish. We were both drawn to ordained ministry through our desire to minister to and care for the people that God brings to us. We have a particular heart for the elderly, and for the challenges that people face as they journey through their latter years.

We hope that, through our website, you may find our parish community to be accessible to you regardless of whether or not you are familiar with the culture and practice of the church. We can assure you of a warm welcome at St Mary’s should you choose to come and see.
